A Letter from a Faithful Contributor:

"I want to thank all of you for what you have done helping the Plummer Home.

I first learned of the home when I lived in Peabody (that was 20 years ago) and actually born and brought up there.  Who knew we'd be transfered to Conn. with my husband's company.  Our son, Michael, was just a child when I fist saw an article in the paper about the home for boys, so every Christmas I started to give Michael one less gift and instead send a check to you.

We were lucky to be able to do this and some times although I felt a sadness I also knew maybe I was helping just a little bit for someone I didn't even know.

Now in these past years, I'm lucky enough to help a little more by donating twice a year.  I know its not alot but hopefully it will help in a small way.

Please continue to do what you do, for I'm sure the boys appreciate it.  Its a lot of hard work but the satisfaction must fill your hearts.  Thank you again for making me aware in the summer too!

(Mike is now 32 years old, I just can't believe where the time has gone). "
